Travel through misty alpine meadows, pristine lakes, and mystical caves, discovering the legends of gods, fairies, and mythical creatures that have shaped the land’s spirit for centuries.

Itinerary Highlights

Day 1: Arrival in Ljubljana (7 June)

  • Explore the old town and Ljubljana Castle for some city views.
  • Discover the legend of the Ljubljana Dragon and its connection to the Slavic god Veles.
  • Overnight in Ljubljana.


Day 2: Okrog pri Motniku (8 June)

  • Breakfast in Ljubljana, then transfer towards Okrog pri Motniku.
  • Stop in Kamnik to explore its medieval charm and a sip of craft beer at one of the local micro-breweries.
  • Evening tea-tasting workshop & storytelling inspired by the goddess Živa and the White Ladies of Velika Planina.
  • Overnight in Okrog pri Motniku.


Day 3: Menina Planina & Logarska Dolina (9 June)

  • Trek through Menina Planina, picking wildflowers and immersing in its ancient energy.
  • Reflect on the legend of Zlatorog, the golden-horned chamois of the Julian Alps.
  • Optional trek in the stunning Logarska Dolina.
  • Overnight in Okrog pri Motniku.


Day 4: Bled & Bohinj (10 June)

  • Visit the famous Lake Bled, home to fairy legends and sacred rituals.
  • Trek to Vintgar Gorge or hike to the Ojstrica viewpoint for panoramic views.
  • Continue to Bohinj Lake, the heart of Triglav National Park.
  • Optional dip in the lake and spend the night in Bohinj.


Day 5: Kranjska Gora & Soča Valley (11 June)

  • Morning visit to the Savica Waterfall, known for its mythical connection to Triglav, the three-headed god.
  • Afternoon drive to the emerald-green Soča Valley, a region of deep gorges and waterfalls.
  • Overnight in Bovec or Kobarid.


Day 6: Postojna & Wine Region (12 June)

  • Explore the Postojna Cave, home to the legendary olm, the baby dragon, linked to Veles, the underworld deity.
  • Afternoon drive to Slovenia’s wine country (Goriška Brda or the Karst region) for an optional wine-tasting experience.
  • Optional visit to the medieval town of Štanjel.
  • Continue to Piran and rest.


Day 7: Piran & the Adriatic Coast (13 June)

  • Morning exploration of Piran, a coastal gem with Venetian charm.
  • Optional visit the Sečovlje Salt Pans.
  • Final reflection and evening departure.
